What school communication software should do
Most Indian schools already talk to parents on WhatsApp — usually through class groups run from a teacher's personal phone. That works until a number changes, a parent joins mid-year, or the school needs to know who was actually told about a holiday or a fee due date.
In NotifyHub School, communication starts from the school's own records. Parent and guardian contacts are linked to students in student management, so an announcement goes to the families on record rather than to whoever is in a chat group. Parents can also read announcements in the parent portal.
This page describes communication inside the school ERP. NotifyHub School is not WhatsApp marketing software; NotifyHub Technologies sells that as a separate product.
Problems it is meant to solve
Class WhatsApp groups as the official channel
Groups depend on one staff member's phone, mix casual chat with notices, and miss parents who were never added.
No single parent contact list
When phone numbers live in registers and spreadsheets, the office cannot be sure every family receives a notice.
Parents who do not use one channel
Some families read WhatsApp, others rely on SMS or email. One channel alone leaves gaps.
Calls asking what was announced
Without a place to look notices up later, parents phone the office to ask again.
Communication features available now
School announcements
Publish announcements that also appear in the parent portal.
Reach parents on WhatsApp from the school ERP instead of personal phones.
SMS
For families who rely on text messages.
For parents who prefer email.
Notification preferences
Parents can manage their notification preferences.
Fee reminders
Fee reminders are part of school fee management, sent from the same records as invoices.
