School ERP for small schools

NotifyHub School is a simple and affordable school ERP for growing Indian schools. It is suitable for a school managing approximately 100 students, and for schools with a few hundred students that still run students and fees through Excel or registers.

What a small school actually needs

A school with about 100–500 students usually has a small office team. The job is to keep student lists accurate, mark attendance, collect fees, follow admissions enquiries, publish homework, share results and answer parents. A large campus ERP can add roles, approvals and modules the team will not use.

NotifyHub School keeps the scope to administration a small school already understands: students, parents, attendance, fees, admissions enquiries, homework, timetable, examinations, teachers, parent communication and a parent portal. It is cloud software, so there is no on-campus server project. Schools still on spreadsheets can compare a school ERP with Excel and prepare a student list for import.

Why large ERP systems can be unnecessarily complex

  • Too many modules on day one

Transport, library, payroll and multi-campus tools are useful in some schools. A 100-student school usually needs students, attendance, fees and parents first.

  • Implementation that needs a dedicated IT owner

Small schools rarely have an IT department. Browser-based software with Excel import is a more realistic start than a local server.

  • Training that takes weeks

If teachers cannot mark attendance in a few minutes, the school will keep the paper register in parallel.

  • Pricing that assumes an enterprise rollout

NotifyHub School publishes Starter, Growth and Enterprise plan names and quotes after a demo instead of presenting a single opaque enterprise contract as the only option.

How NotifyHub School simplifies administration

Student import from Excel or CSV

Import students, parents, enrollments, staff, classes, sections and subjects. Fee import is not available.

Attendance

Class-wise daily marking, leave, reports and parent visibility.

Fees

Plans, invoices, office collection, receipts, reports and reminders. Online parent payment is not available yet.

Admissions enquiries

Capture enquiries, follow up, and convert them into applications. This is not a full CRM suite.

Examinations and results

Scheduling, marks, published results and in-app report cards. Printable PDF report cards are not available yet.

Parent communication

Announcements plus WhatsApp, SMS and email. Push notifications are not available yet.

Homework and timetable

Teachers publish work and schedules that parents can open in the portal.

Ease of implementation

  1. 1

    Start with a demo

Share student strength—for example around 100, 300 or 500—and whether you use Excel today.

  2. 2

    Set up the academic structure

Academic year, classes, sections, subjects and staff roles.

  3. 3

    Import the student list

Use the Excel / CSV import instead of retyping every row.

  4. 4

Run attendance and fees in parallel with old registers if needed

Many small schools keep a short overlap period. The product is designed for daily use, not a year-long rollout.

  5. 5

    Invite parents

OTP login, including families with more than one child in the school.

Practical benefits for a small office

  • Staff can learn the daily workflows without a long training programme.
  • Parents see attendance, homework, timetable and fee balances without calling the office for every update.
  • Fee reminders and reports reduce spreadsheet reconstruction at the end of the month.
  • Email support is included on Starter; Enterprise adds dedicated onboarding and priority support.
  • Pricing is discussed against school size and modules, with a free demo first.

Examples of fit

  • Suitable for a school managing approximately 100 students.
  • Suitable for schools currently managing students and fees through Excel or registers.
  • Suitable for a growing school of a few hundred students that needs clearer attendance, fees and parent communication.
  • A 500-student school can use the same product if it wants role-based access for principal, teachers, accountant and office staff—without multi-branch.

Questions schools ask

Is NotifyHub School suitable for a 100-student school?

Yes. A school of about 100 students is a primary use case, especially if records currently live in Excel or registers.

What if we grow past 500 students?

The product is positioned for small and growing schools around 100–500 students, but this website does not publish a hard student cap. Multi-branch is not available. Ask in the demo if you have a larger single-campus school.

How long does implementation take?

There is no local install. Time depends on how quickly the school can provide an Excel/CSV student list and confirm classes and fee plans. A demo is the right place to estimate that for your office.

Is pricing transparent?

Plan names and included modules are published on the pricing page. Exact rupee prices are quoted after a demo because they depend on school size and modules. A free demo is available.
